We are on the edge of town in Bulwer, facing into the national park and back onto Castaways Café and Store and its only 100m from the beach.

Relax on the beach by the crystal clear water of Moreton Bay, practice your photography or listen to the sounds of the wildlife in the surrounding native bush land.
If your up for more adventure we can organise a tour to amazing places around the island. Come on a 4wd Northern Safari Tour, visit Cape Moreton Lighthouse, Champagne Pools, Honeymoon Bay, whale watch (in season) and swim in Blue Lagoon, sand toboggan at the desert, enjoy a guided snorkel tour of Tangalooma Wrecks or climb the highest sand dune in the world.

Group Tents
Group Camping offers 16 cabin style tents already set up with each sleeping up to 6 people in comfy stretcher beds, grouped undercover for complete weather protection. There is also a large covered recreational and dining area with a Big Screen Smart TV, BBQ and and equipped kitchen (Bring your own bedding e.g. pillows, sleeping bags, blankets or sheets) with adjacent hot showers and flushing toilets. And it wouldn’t be camping without a firepit! Camping can't get any better.
Tent accommodation is $30 per person per night – minimum groups of 10 (or minimum cost) to 100+ persons. Your Group will have the whole camp area regardless of group size.
Castaways can organise a fully catered group camp package include your camp accommodation with comfy stretcher beds, all your meals, tea/coffee making facilities and drinking water, and your return passenger ferry trip. If you don’t have a 4wd, we can organise on island transfers to and from Castaways for an additional fee. Our mouth watering meals are cooked are self served style meals with many choices. For those that want everything organised for them.
1 Night camp $180 per Adult, $120 Youth
2 Nights camp $270 per Adult, $190 Youth
3 Nights camp $340 per Adult, $240 Youth
The above package prices include the return passenger fare on the Micat Ferry. We can also arrange a package deal to include your vehicle ferry trip across Moreton Bay.

Group Huts
Our Group Huts at Castaways offer 3 adjoining rooms sleeping 6 to 8 people in each room in bunk beds with your own equipped outdoor kitchen, hot showers and flushing toilets, fireplace and undercover dining/seating and lounging area complete with large BBQ, side burners and large fridge/freezer. There are also open air beach showers. Nothing better than a shower under the stars!
Group Hut accommodation is $700 per night (Bring your own bedding e.g. pillows, sleeping bags, blankets or sheets or hire for $20 per person) The Hut accommodation sleeps 22 people (and up to 25 people with additional fold away beds)
Castaways can organise Fully Catered Group Hut packages which includes your hut accommodation, all your meals, tea/coffee making facilities and drinking water, and your return passenger ferry trip. If you don’t have a 4wd, we can organise on island transfers to and from Castaways for an additional fee. Our mouth watering meals are self serve style meals with many choices. Menus can be supplied on request and can be modified to suit.
