Our self-contained holiday rental units in Bulwer, Moreton Island, offer the ideal family accommodation for your island getaway. Located just 200 meters from the calm beach and Bulwer Shipwrecks, these holiday rentals provides everything you need for a memorable stay on Moreton Island.

Each holiday rental feature ceiling on wall fans and 2 or 3 bedrooms, with King or Queen Beds, and single beds. Extra fold-away beds can be added for a 7th or 8th person (additional fee applies). The newly renovated bathrooms boasts a hot shower and toilet, with open-plan kitchens coming fully equipped with utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, gas stove top, oven, and fridge/freezers.  All have dining areas and the lounge rooms are equipped with a big-screen smart TV  with access to wifi.

Guests also have access to our outdoor kitchen equipped with two large BBQs, stainless steel gas stoves, fridges, and tables and chairs and communal firepit area.  Castaways Cafe is right next door and open daily for breakfast and lunch with a  a variety of dining options, from coffee and meals to hot snacks and hearty breakfasts. The cafe also includes a licensed store where you can purchase alcohol.

Castaways runs on off-grid solar power, so high amp devices cannot be plugged in. We recommend bringing your own beach towel and drinking water, as the supplied tank water is not suitable for consumption, but is fine for cooking etc. Drinking water is available for purchase at Castaways Cafe & Store.
